LED automotive lights refer to automotive lighting devices that use light-emitting diodes (LEDs) as their light source. With significant advantages such as energy saving, long lifespan, high brightness, fast response speed, and flexible design, they are widely used in automotive interior and exterior lighting systems, including headlights, taillights, daytime running lights, and brake lights.
With technological advancements, LED automotive lights are evolving towards intelligence and high pixel counts (such as Micro LED). Pixel-level control technology can achieve independent and precise control of tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of pixels, supporting intelligent interactive functions such as dynamic light pattern editing and ground projection. New patents have also emerged, such as intelligent cooling technology combining air-cooled and liquid-cooled components. The domestic LED automotive lighting industry experienced rapid growth in the mid-to-late 2020s, achieving breakthroughs in core technologies such as Micro LED and ADB adaptive high beams. LED automotive lights have become the mainstream choice for automotive lighting. In 2024, the pre-installation rate of LED headlights in passenger cars in the Chinese market reached 81.3%, and the global automotive LED market value is projected to exceed US$3.4 billion by 2025.
