In the early stages of the popular car modification culture in China, chassis lights were a representative modification project of the "auto parts market style," primarily pursuing visual appeal.
With technological advancements, LED light sources, due to their long lifespan, high brightness, and low energy consumption, have gradually replaced neon lights. Product types have also diversified, with various types emerging, such as LED flexible light strips and surface-mount lights. The industry exhibits a low-to-medium concentration competitive landscape, and the market maintains a continuous growth trend.
In recent years, product trends have shifted towards intelligentization. Some products support color adjustment in conjunction with vehicle infotainment systems, multiple display modes (such as constant light and breathing), and may support integration with smart home or vehicle networking devices. Currently, finished LED chassis light strips are approximately one meter long and come in four colors: white, red, blue, and green, with blue being the most prevalent on the market.
China's car modification market has developed rapidly in recent years. With the implementation of the "Guidelines for Technical Specifications of Car Modification", 16 modification projects, including lights, will be legalized starting in 2025. The color temperature of LED headlights is strictly prohibited from exceeding 6000K.
