LEDs have an extremely fast lighting speed, requiring only microseconds. This characteristic is particularly evident in taillights and turn signals, allowing for rapid illumination and better warning. For headlights, LED headlights also exhibit a higher response speed compared to xenon and halogen headlights, further enhancing driving safety.
LEDs have significantly higher luminous efficiency, almost twice that of fluorescent lamps. For example, energy-saving lamps are 4/5 more energy-efficient than incandescent bulbs, while LEDs are an additional 1/4 more energy-efficient. In the automotive industry, daytime running lights using LED components consume only 1/20th the energy of halogen lamps.
